Know About Saptagandaki Multiple Campus

Saptagandaki Multiple Campus (SMC), established in 1988 (2045 BS), is a leading community campus affiliated with Tribhuwan University. It is situated at Bharatpur Metropolitan Ward No 10, Chitwan in the Bagmati Provience of Nepal. SMC came into existence through the collective endeavors of distinguished academicians, social workers, political figures, and the general public from the community. Founded with the motto of disseminating quality education to students coming from underprivileged and marginalized groups as well as middle-class backgrounds at affordable cost, SMC has grown, both in size and in reputation into one of the leading higher educational institutions of Nepal within a short period of its establishment. Nurtured by dedicated and experienced lecturers and efficient working staff, the campus instills values like compassion, selflessness, dedication, love for fellowmen, and above all the thirst for wisdom and knowledge into students and prepares them for the challenges of the modern competitive world. SMC runs classes in different streams and disciplines from Bachelor's level to Master's Degree level in three different shifts from dawn to dusk.

In the end, SMC feels proud to share the fact that it has been selected as a deserving community campus for the Second Higher Education Project of the University Grants Commission on national-level assessment.
Situated in a peaceful environment, Saptagandaki Multiple Campus occupies one biga of land. The campus has also bought an extra biga of land for the purpose of running technical education. Saptagandaki Multiple Campus offers BA, BBS, B.Ed., BSc. Environment Science, BCA, BBA, BIM, BICTE, MBS, MA and M.Ed. affiliated to Tribhuvan University. Currently, there are 2350 students, 70 teaching staff, and 22 administrative staff. The students of this campus have obtained TU Board Top positions in B.Ed. and M.Ed. exams in the past and a number of students have secured outstanding performance in BBS and MBS levels of Management Faculty. Many of our students have come up with excellent results in the exams conducted by NEB too. These indicators reveal that SMC has offered quality education in the field of teaching.

The future target of this campus is to make Saptagandaki a deemed university. The campus aims at launching Civil Overseers, lab technicians, BHM, and BSc.CSIT in the future.

Dear Students and Parents, In my capacity as the chairman of the BOD, would like to welcome you to Saptagandaki Multiple Campus(SMC) and thank you for choosing SMC for higher education. I would like to assure you that you have made a right choice. Saptagandaki has a short but outstanding history. Starting with a few students and borrowed classroom just 35 years ago, Saptagandaki has rapidly grown into a gigantic institution both physically and academically, and it has been satisfying educational needs of thousands of students coming from all over Nepal. Its present position and reputation has been possible through untiring effort and struggle of many educationalists, intellectuals and social workers. Similarly, the competent and dedicated teaching faculties and administrative staff deserve equal credit. We can find graduates from Saptagandaki in various corners of Nepal. It has produced many academics, administrators, managers and leaders in various professional fields, and I believe it will continue to lead the educational field in the days to come. Finally, I feel highly honoured to hold the position of Saptagandaki BOD Chairman, and I proudly invite the prospective students to come to SMC.
