Message from Coordinator

I am pleased to present the Environmental and Social Safeguard Policy and Guidelines – 2025 (2082 BS) of Saptagandaki Multiple Campus. This policy reflects our commitment to ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible campus for all.

It aims to identify and manage environmental and social risks, strengthen safety standards, and promote sustainable practices in all campus activities. Through collective efforts and active participation from students, faculty, and staff, we can build a culture of safety, responsibility, and sustainability.

I encourage everyone to support and engage in the effective implementation of this policy.

Vision

To establish Saptagandaki Multiple Campus as a model institution that ensures a safe, sustainable, inclusive, and environmentally responsible learning environment for all.

Mission

To promote environmental sustainability and social well-being within the campus by implementing effective safety measures, fostering awareness, strengthening institutional capacity, and collaborating with stakeholders to minimize risks and enhance quality of life.

Objectives

  • To ensure a safe and healthy environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors within the campus.
  • To identify, assess, and mitigate environmental and social risks associated with campus activities.
  • To implement and maintain safety standards, particularly in laboratories and infrastructure.
  • To promote proper waste management, sanitation, and pollution control practices.
  • To strengthen disaster preparedness and emergency response mechanisms.
  • To ensure access to safe drinking water and hygienic food services.
  • To encourage awareness, training, and capacity-building programs related to environmental and social safety.
  • To foster collaboration with local authorities, health institutions, and other stakeholders.
  • To support inclusive and accessible infrastructure for all, including persons with disabilities.
  • To regularly monitor, evaluate, and improve environmental and social safeguard practices.
